Student and Faculty Work Published in Print Magazine Annual

Print magazine, a national award winning publication, has recently published work by College of Art + Design students and a graphic design faculty member.

The images, published in Print’s Regional Design Annual 2012, includes the College of Art + Design Lecture Series Poster, designed by LSU Graphic Design Student Office’s student designers Natalie Del Pino, Eric Oliver, Dayna Zrinksi, and Jeremy Grassman. Assistant Professor Courtney Barr was the faculty advisor

“This is a professional competition, so the fact that the students won an award at the professional level is a real achievement,” says Barr.

The magazine also published Intersections of Influence, a digital and letterpress print made by Professor Barr. Additionally, this piece was the second place winner in last summer’s Baton Rouge Artmelt 2012.

Founded in 1940, Print is a bimonthly magazine about visual culture and design and a five time winner of the American Society of Magazine Editors’ National Magazine Award. Print has been cited numerous times by the Society of Publication Designers, AIGA, the Art Directors Club, and the Type Directors Club. For more information, visit
