Gallery Spaces

The LSU Museum of Art in the Shaw Center for the Arts, exhibits the work of national and international artists.

The Alfred C. Glassell Jr. Exhibition Gallery at the Shaw Center for the Arts is the School of Art’s ultra-contemporary exhibition space that brings artwork of the highest caliber to Baton Rouge and challenges viewers to look seriously at works that evoke and possibly provoke a response.

The Foster Hall Gallery features primarily student work. Students may make arrangements to have their work exhibited.

Gallery 229 is an exhibition space available for student work and guest photographers.

Exhibition space in located the printmaking department.

The Sculpture Park was conceived and created as a collaboration between faculty and students.

The Student Union Gallery shows student and faculty work.

The Middleton Library is the main campus library and includes a dedicated printmaking gallery space.

The Hill Memorial Library which has an exhibition program that includes historic and contemporary exhibitions of artists’ books, photographs and printed ephemera.
