Why did you choose LSU for your education?

LSU offered a design based and focused program.

How did your LSU degree help to prepare you for your profession?

The program from LSU gave me a good grounding in the basics of landscape architecture, both its design and practice.

What current or past research and projects/exhibitions have you done?

Recent work included the William J. Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, AK, the Shaw Center in Baton Rouge, La., and the Chattanooga Waterfront Park in Tenn. I continue to lead Louisville Waterfront Park Phase II and III and Univ. of Cincinnati Master Plan 2000. I have served as Principal-in-Charge for such award-winning projects as Sydney Olympics 2000 and Parque do Tejo e Trancão in Portugal.

I am a registered Landscape Architect in 13 states including California, Florida, New York.
I lecture and have been a visiting juror at The University of New South Wales, Department of Landscape Architecture, Spring 1997; The University of Idaho, School of Architecture, Fall 1995; University of California, Berkeley, College of Environmental Design, Berkeley, Calif., Spring 1987, Fall 1987, Fall 1989, Spring 1990, Fall 1992; and Harvard Univ. Graduate School of Design, Fall 1994, Fall 2000, Fall 2002, Spring 2003.

I am a Member of the Center for Critical Architecture, American Society of Landscape Architects, International Federation of Landscape Architects, American Planning Association. In San Francisco I serve with the Public Arts Program Advisory Commit- tee, Planning & Urban Research Association, Architecture Club and I serve on the Peer Review Committee of the GSA.

Currently, our firm’s work is part of the Landscape Architecture exhibition, Groundswell, at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
