Faculty
The faculty at the School of Architecture are dedicated to helping you create and develop your best work. Ongoing critiques and advice from professors are an integral part of the curriculum. But faculty members go beyond that. Because the concentration areas are small, you have an opportunity to get to know professors on a one-on-one basis. Professors advise you about jobs, summer study positions and career paths that will allow you to realize your professional ambitions.
The School of Architecture has an outstanding nationally and internationally recognized faculty. Faculty members provide critical connections between the academic program and the larger art community. In addition, faculty members regularly work on real-world projects and important academic collaborations. One recent project involved a competition to design and build a Habitat for Humanity house, integrating classroom knowledge, hands-on construction, the integration of new materials and budget constraints.
Faculty regularly invite professionals into the school to bring additional perspectives and current issues impacting architecture, design and construction. ]
