Information about undergraduate scholarships, TOPS and other financial issues is available through the LSU Office of Student Aid and Scholarships. Some undergraduate scholarships are available through the School of Art and Design. Assistantships are awarded to graduate students for a period of one to three years for MFA students or two years for MA students. Awards are based on a review of applications and recommendation by the graduate faculty to the director of the school. Assistantships require set hours of service to the school and are awarded at one of two levels: 15 hours per week at $5,400 per year or 20 hours per week at $6,300 per year. All graduate program applicants are eligible for consideration for assistantship awards.
