  • Peter Shire | One Retrospective: Three Venues

    For the first time ever, a trio of LSU’s art galleries will join forces to present a three-part retrospective featuring the works of internationally renowned artist and designer Peter Shire. Reception: Thursday, January 31st, 6—8 p.m.
  • Serious Fun: Works by Peter Shire | Glassell Gallery

    Located on the first floor of the Shaw Center for the Arts, the Alfred C. Glassell Jr. Exhibition Gallery’s Peter Shire exhibit: "Serious Fun: Works by Peter Shire" is on display January 31-March 24. Reception: Thursday, January 31st, 6—8 p.m.
  • Peter Shire: A World of Geometrics | LSU Union Gallery

    The Union Art Gallery, located on the 2nd floor of the LSU Student Union, presenta its Peter Shire exhibit, titled "Peter Shire: A World of Geometrics" February 3-24, 2012. Opening reception Sunday, February 3 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Practically Absurd: Art & Design by Peter Shire | Museum of Art

    The LSU Museum of Art, located on the fifth floor of the Shaw Center for the Arts, hosts its Peter Shire exhibit, titled "Practically Absurd: Art & Design by Peter Shire" from January 31-April 14. Reception: Thursday, January 31st, 6—8 p.m.
  • Glassell Gallery | Mysteries: Paintings by Michael Crespo | 2012.10.27–2012.12.14

    Mysteries: Works by Michael Crespo, Curated by Libby Johnson, a new exhibit featuring works created by the late Michael Crespo, a former faculty member of the LSU School of Art, will be on display from Oct. 27 – Dec. 14, 2012. This collection of oil paintings and works on paper features works completed in the last decade of Crespo’s life. Several works have never been shown publicly. An exhibition catalog will accompany the show.
  • Glassell Gallery | Social (dis)Order | August 30–October 7

    Reception: Friday, September 21, 6-8 p.m. Curated by Margot Herster and Derick Ostrenko. Social(dis)order is an exhibition that brings together recent and historical works that explore the power technology-enabled social networks have over traditional social constructs.
