About the Department of Interior Design
The Interior Design program at LSU, accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), has ranked tenth in the nation by ‘Design Intelligence’ in a national survey. Part of the College of Art + Design, the Interior Design program is an independent department within the college and offers a BID (Bachelor of Interior Design) degree. The program shares courses with the School of Architecture, School of Art and School of Landscape Architecture and welcomes collaboration amongst the disciplines. The Interior Design program offers students a well-rounded suite of creativity, design and technical courses along with offerings in business, liberal arts and communications.
