CADGIS Lab

The Computer-Aided Design and Geographic Information Systems (CADGIS) Lab, located in the Design Building, offers a range of services for students, including printing, scanning, and other computer services geared toward design and geographical information systems. The Lab’s computers, accessible by students in the College, has AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Studio Viz, Sketchup, and other representational programs.

The lab is dedicated to teaching and research in the areas of computer-aided design, image processing, and other computer applications in art, architecture, design, geography, anthropology, interior design, and landscape architecture. Many of the services are available from your laptop if it is properly configured through LSU’s Office of Computing Services.

The CADGIS Lab provides an extensive set of resources to our students; more information can be found at cadgis.lsu.edu.
