Design Workshop

The College of Art and Design workshop is used to build scale models and prototypes. The workshop is extensively stocked containing most of the tools necessary to complete school projects. The workshop has a vast array of hand tools and machinery, including a laser cutter, that can be used on site with the assistance of a skilled and helpful staff.

Students are required to pass a safety exam in order to use the woodshop. Orientations and exams are scheduled regularly, more information can be obtained by contacting the woodshop manager Jonathan Pellitteri, jpelli1@lsu.edu.
