Computer-Aided Design and Geographic Information Systems Lab
The Computer-Aided Design and Geographic Information Systems (CADGIS) research laboratory is located at 216 Design Building. CADGIS is dedicated to teaching and research in the areas of computer-aided design, image-processing, and more applications in architecture, art, interior design, and landscape architecture. CADGIS offers large format printing and scanning, and other computer services geared toward design. For a list of lab software please see CADGIS Software List.
During the semester, CADGIS will be open during the times below. CADGIS will be closed during university holidays or other university closures, as well as Saturdays.

Plotting prices are by linear foot, meaning that one linear foot is the minimum unit of measurement used to calculate the length—and therefore the price—of the plot. Price breaks are given for common in-between sizes like 18×24, 20×30, 40×36. For more details please see the Extended Pricing List.

Classroom Scheduling Policy
Classes have exclusive use of the lab during their assigned times. Students from outside a class will not be permitted access until the class has been dismissed unless permission is given by the instructor. Outside of class times, the computers of the lab will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
