DESCRIPTION:Animals in Art International Exhibition\nVeterinary Medicine Library\, School of Veterinary Medicine\nMarch 19–April 18\, 2016\nOpening reception and awards presentation: March 19\, 2016\nAnimals in Art International Exhibition is a longstanding international art exhibit in the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine celebrating animals and their wonder. The exhibition focuses on traditional media featuring images of all types of animals. \nJonathan Mayers is juror and judge of the 2016 exhibition. Mayers is a Louisiana artist and Baton Rouge native who received a BFA in Studio Art from LSU and an MFA from the University of New Orleans. He is a founding member of TEN Gallery + Collective in New Orleans and has exhibited works in Propect.3+\, Surreal Salon\, and Notes from the Artistic Underground. His work is included in the LSU Student Union Art Gallery Permanent Collection and the art collection of Universite Sainte-Anne in Church Point\, Nova Scotia. \nRead more at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine website.
