During LSU 2019 Undergraduate Research Week, the Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture will host landscape architecture campus tours, on Tuesday, April 9, at 2 p.m., and Wednesday, April 10, at 11 a.m. Tours will meet at Memorial Oak Grove (behind the LSU Student Union.)

This tour will look at iconic plants and the spatial experiences they create on the LSU campus. We will learn how to identify some of these species such as the southern live oak, southern magnolia, azalea, and the cabbage palm, and we will hear about their storied histories in southern gardens. Join landscape architecture assistant professor Nicholas Serrano for a 50-minute tour of campus through a designers lens, beginning at the Memorial Grove behind the Student Union, up Highland Avenue, down the Quad, and ending inside the Design Building.
