SUMMARY:Passionfruit: MFA Student Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:LSU MFA student work will be on exhibit in the LSU Foster Gallery September 11–October 13\, 2017. Passionfruit: MFA Student Exhibition is curated by LSU MFA candidates Justin T. Bryant and Meghan Saas. A reception will be held on Friday\, September 15\, 6–8 p.m. \nPassionfruit explores the varieties of art making within and outside the MFA program at the LSU School of Art. Traditional and new media are woven together to re-contextualize the ways we use materials and think about imagery. The exhibition features works in mixed media by current art graduate students. The reception will include readings of works by LSU creative writing MFA students. Stop by the Foster Gallery on LSU’s campus to enjoy the fruits of our students’ passion for art.
