DESCRIPTION:Marco Mazzoni\, artist and illustrator\, will give a lecture hosted by the School of Art in conjunction with Baton Rouge Gallery of Contemporary Art on Monday\, January 23\, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in 103 Julian T. White Hall Auditorium (formerly Design Building.)\nMarco Mazzoni is an artist based in Milan\, Italy best known for his vibrant and dramatic colored pencil drawings. Mazzoni’s work holds a strong interest in flora and fauna\, often depicting subjects surrounded by colorful plants\, birds\, and more. His works have been seen in galleries across Europe and North America as well as publications like The New Yorker\, Juxtapoz Magazine\, Hi Fructose Magazine\, Les Arts Dessines\, and Arte Mondadori. \nMazzoni is the special guest juror for the Baton Rouge Gallery’s Surreal Salon 15. \nLearn more about Marco’s work here
