Organized by the LSU School of Art Diversity Committee, the inaugural group exhibition “Part of the Masses” aims to provide a glimpse into our students’ blossoming creativity to celebrate the differences in our expressions, affirm our chosen communities, and foster a sense of belonging.

Masses have no definitive shape. They are open, flexible, and unlimited. Most importantly, they are inclusive — an ever-expanding possibility for variation and diversity. Though seemingly homogenous, the strength of the masses comes from small individual components — each as beautiful and integral as the other.

The works in this exhibition were juried by students and faculty of the diversity committee.
