The LSU Racism Untaught Workshop: Revealing & Unlearning Racialized Design workshop will be held for the LSU design community on Friday, Nov. 6 at 11:30 a.m. via Zoom.

Facilitated by Lisa Mercer and Terresa Moses, this two-hour workshop provides participants with an exercise on positionally, power, and privilege. We then move on to the first step in the Racism Untaught toolkit, “Context,” where participants are given the cards which outline almost fifty different elements of racism. This allows participants to analyze an artifact, system, or experience through our framework and learn how we perpetuate racism through ‘racialized’ design within levels of oppression.
