SUMMARY:Architecture Camp
DESCRIPTION:Architecture Camp is an exciting chance for high school students entering grades 10th through 12th to explore the world of design and architecture. Interact with faculty and LSU School of Architecture students while working on real-life projects. our the unique architecture and landscape architecture of the LSU campus and visit construction sites and local architecture firms. This one-week\, residential workshop on the LSU campus is sponsored by the LSU College of Art & Design and the LSU School of Architecture. \n\nGet a taste of college life—live and eat on campus! (The workshop includes dorm accommodations and a meal plan.)\nExplore architectural ideas through hands-on studios and field trips.\nAttend seminars and lectures.\nParticipate in critiques.\nMeet professional architects—learn how they work and how they prepared for their careers.\n\nCamp Dates: Sunday–Friday\, June 14–19\, 2015\nCourse Fee: $795 (includes full program\, housing\, and meals) \nA limited number of partial scholarships are available on the basis of financial need plus academic performance.
