DESCRIPTION:Dr. Todd Bridges\, USACE’s Engineering With Nature Initiative National Lead\, will present a lecture at the LSU College of Art & Design at 5 p.m. on Wednesday\, November 7\, 2018\, in the LSU Design Building Auditorium (room 103).\nDr. Todd Bridges is the U.S. Army’s Senior Research Scientist for Environmental Science and his responsibilities include being the National Lead for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ (USACE) Engineering With Nature® initiative. In this role\, Dr. Bridges leads a cross-disciplinary team that researches and promotes sustainable\, resilient infrastructure systems. \nEngineering With Nature is the intentional alignment of natural and engineering processes to efficiently and sustainably deliver economic\, environmental\, and social benefits through collaborative processes.
