Darrion Goudy is a proud graduate of Louisiana State University, where he earned his Master’s in Architecture in 2020. With a passion for architecture, landscape design, and construction, Darrion has built an impressive career that blends creativity, functionality, and sustainability.
Currently, he is the Founder and Principal Designer of Designs by Darrion, a luxury outdoor living and architectural company based in Royse City, Texas. His work focuses on custom outdoor spaces, site planning, high-end landscaping, and architectural consulting, delivering premium design solutions to residential and commercial clients.
Before launching his business, Darrion gained experience as an architectural draftsman, landscape manager, and project lead on multiple design-build teams. His expertise spans AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM, and site development, making him a well-rounded professional in the built environment.
Beyond his professional achievements, Darrion is a former Division I football player at the University of Southern Mississippi (2010-2014), where he developed a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and a competitive drive that continue to shape his career.
Currently, Darrion is pursuing a Master’s in Construction Management at LSU, further expanding his expertise in project execution, cost estimation, and construction methodologies. His goal is to bridge the gap between architecture, construction, and design, ensuring seamless project delivery for his clients.
In his personal life, Darrion is a devoted husband and father, balancing family life with his entrepreneurial pursuits. He remains deeply connected to LSU, mentoring young designers and contributing to the architecture and construction industries.
