Position Overview:
Farmer | Morgan provides private and public sector planning, design, and construction inspection
services for entities in North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi. This position is for an entry
level Landscape Architect in Training (LAIT) for work on planning, design and construction
documents for projects developed in conjunction with other employees of Farmer | Morgan.
Under minimal supervision, perform complex construction document development and design detail
review. Support existing firm staff through project assistance, project development and project
management as required. Ability to handle design review duties that are related to projects within the
individual’s purview of expertise.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):
1. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with design and drawing preparation
for architectural and engineering projects which meet the client, contract and firm
requirements.
2. Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, analysis and report writing
3. Develop Opinions of Probable Cost (OPC’s) for clients in order to pursue project development.
4. Have the ability to establish good relationship with peers and clients by responding to requests
in a timely manner
5. Perform other duties as required.
