Landscape Architecture
Alpa Nawre is an assistant professor at the Department of Landscape Architecture/Regional and Community Planning at Kansas State University and a partner at her design practice DNA, Alpa Nawre Design. Her scholarship focuses on the intersection of landscape architecture and urban design, and interdisciplinary and international collaborations are strong foundations of her scholarship. Her work has been exhibited at the AIA National Conference in Boston and recognized through prizes such as the IFLA International Student Competition Award in Sydney, Australia. Nawre received a master’s degree in urban design from Harvard Graduate School of Design, and she received a Master of Landscape Architecture from LSU in 2007. She received a Bachelor in Architecture from NIT in Raipur, India. She is a LEED AP, licensed architect in India and a licensed landscape architect in the state of Kansas.
