BID 2008

Interior Design

Since graduating in 2008, Brad has dedicated his career to creating innovative, human-centric spaces across corporate workplace interiors and education design projects. His journey has taken him through some of the industry’s most prestigious architecture firms, including Gensler, Stantec, and currently HKS, where he serves as the Global Practice Director for Education Interiors.

Throughout his career, he has been able to lead and collaborate on projects that push the boundaries of design. His most recent achievement was receiving a 2024 IIDA Design Excellence Award (TX/OK) for his design of the Tangram Showroom in Dallas, TX.

His design and leadership philosophy is rooted in ideation, empathy, and psychological safety. He believes that truly transformative spaces emerge when all stakeholders feel empowered to contribute their perspectives in an open and inclusive environment. This approach has not only guided his work, but also shaped the teams he has led in roles such as Design Director and now as a global leader at HKS.

Whether creating workplaces that foster collaboration and innovation or educational environments that inspire learning and growth, Brad remains committed to advancing the field of interior architecture through thoughtful leadership and design excellence.
