Alair Wells (MFA 2004) obtained a BFA and MFA in sculpture. Alair has organized and participated in a multitude of iron-casting workshops and events nationwide; her mixed-media installations have been exhibited in Atlanta, North Carolina, New Orleans, Chicago, Minneapolis, New York, and Seattle. She taught at Binghamton University before relocating to Seattle in 2006, where she currently owns a metalworking business, Tinder Heart Metals & Design. She continues to teach metal fabrication, casting, and blacksmithing classes.
