The annual pre-sale PLANTFEST! Teaser will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2014, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the LSU Hilltop Arboretum. The event will feature a talk, “Marion Drummond Remembered,” about Marion’s favorite plants for the home garden by her favorite friends, landscape architects, and horticultural experts Johnny Mayronne and Michael Hopping and her daughter Laurie Drummond.

After the program, guest speakers will lead a walk through the more than 5,000 plants that will be set up for PLANTFEST! the following weekend (October 4–5).
