“From Roses to Pixels” is an LSU School of Art MFA exhibition that focuses on the Golabgiri Festival in Kashan, Iran, a celebrated rose water festival. This exhibition bridges traditional cultural elements with modern event branding and employs innovative strategies and AI technology. It features a brand identity and a mobile application that together enhance the festival experience. The visual branding captures the essence of the rose water festival (Golabgiri festival), while the app acts as a digital companion, utilizing AI to help visitors plan their trips and navigate through Kashan’s historic streets and cultural landmarks. The exhibition highlights the collaboration between technology, contemporary design, and cultural preservation, aiming to enrich visitor experiences and sustain Kashan’s cultural heritage, inviting both international tourists and Iranians to a vibrant celebration that honors the interplay of history, artistry, and technology.
