CNC Job Process
**Consultations are required for all CNC work**
- Visit art building room 123 for a consultation.
- If you have a model, please provide a .3dm, .STEP, or .f3d file.
- Present your project scope and provide either a CAD model or reference images.
- We will confirm your expectations and provide a price estimate (materials to be provided by the client).
- We will proceed only after you accept the price estimate.
- Using your provided model or creating one from scratch, we will generate toolpaths for the required machine.
- Before making the first cut, you will have the opportunity to verify all the details in person.
- Once verified, we will mill your project and provide you with ready-to-assemble pieces, ensuring that tabs are removed if necessary.
- You will receive an email notification regarding project pickup.
- Payment is required at the time of pickup, and you can use TigerCASH, provide a check to the front office, or use a grant code.
Pricing
- Students $20 per hour
- Faculty – $35 per hour
- Outside Jobs – $60 per hour

Forest Scientific HS 4×8 CNC router
- Capable of cutting 4’x8’x10.5” material. Material height + Tool length can’t exceed 10.5”
