Jerry Lockaby, an accomplished professional in the fields of marketing, advertising, and graphic design, is a proud alumnus of the LSU College of Art & Design. He obtained both his Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts from LSU School of Art and is currently a Doctor of Design (DDes) candidate.

With a dynamic career spanning over two almost three decades, Jerry has accumulated an impressive portfolio, working in areas as diverse as corporate identity, branding, business development, public relations, and online marketing. Known for his proficiency in production management, graphic design processes, art direction, and account management, he has been instrumental in translating client visions into successful marketing and advertising campaigns. His passion for creating engaging consumer experiences coupled with his strong entrepreneurship skillset, has allowed him to emerge as a key liaison between internal creative teams and client needs.

Since 2019, Jerry has been sharing his expertise as an instructor at his alma mater LSU, while simultaneously serving as the social media lead for the LSU School of Art. In his academic role, he is entrusted with developing new courses for the Bachelor of Art program, preparing students for real-world art practice, and overseeing the high-quality production of print materials for the university. Jerry’s multifaceted role also includes leading the digital media team, managing digital assets, and steering the school’s social media channels.

Jerry’s notable accomplishments include multiple awards such as the IABC Bronze Quill, PRSA del Oro, and several local and district Addys. As a bilingual professional proficient in English and Spanish, Jerry brings a unique perspective and diverse skills to his role, contributing to his reputation as a well-respected figure in the field of art and design.
