Lecture by Artists and Professors Kurt Gohde & Kremena Todorova
Kurt Gohde & Kremena Todorova will present,”Discarded” at LSU College of Art + Design Distinguished Lecture Series on, Wednesday, October 24 at 5:00 p.m. in the first floor lecture hall (RM.103) of the Art + Design Building.
Kurt Gohde artwork fuses the apparent dichotomies of his own antiquated childhood and the ever-changing world around him. Ghode is an Associate Professor and Program Director for the Transylvania University Department of Art, where he teaches Studio Art. Kurt exhibits throughout the United States and has received numerous grants and residencies to support his creative activities
Kremena Todorova is an Associate Professor and Program Director for the Transylvania University Department of English, where she teaches American Literature as well as classes that ask students to meet and work with their neighbors face to face. Born and raised in Communist Bulgaria, she continues to draw inspiration for her art and teaching from Timur and his fondness for community.
