Architecture Professor Greg Watson’s Work Featured in American Landscapes Exhibition

Mississippi/Suez–Yellow by Greg Watson

Two pieces by Greg Watson, associate professor at the LSU School of Architecture, were selected for inclusion in the annual American Landscapes: Scenes from the Americas exhibition at the Maryland Federation of Art Circle Gallery in Annapolis, Maryland. American Landscapes will be on view August 15 through September 14, 2014. The work was juried by Peter Van Dyke of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and the exhibition is curated by the Maryland Federation of Art. Watson’s two pieces, Harpswell Figures #1 and Mississippi/Suez–Yellow, were chosen from more than 653 entries, and he is one of 66 artists represented in the exhibition. Watson’s paintings, drawings, and prints have been exhibited at galleries in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Annapolis, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
