Queeramics Symposium

The first Queeramics Symposium will be held at LSU October 9-11, 2019. Keynote speaker Dr. Elena Castro will present a lecture titled “The Cultural Politics of Queer Art. How to make a technogender body and why it matters.” Thursday, October 10, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in Tureaud Hall, room 204.
The Queeramics symposium will draw together members of both the queer and ceramics communities to examine issues of identity, culture and theory within each.

Group exhibition involving queer artists working within the ceramics field. Participating artists are from around the U.S. and Canada.
