Volunteers is a series of intimate portraits of volunteer firefighters, a group of people who continue to come together in direct congregation in a world that is rapidly digitizing. Volunteers depicts a group of men who primarily define themselves by their service to their communities, rather than their career goals or curated exploits documented online.
