Landscape Launches Adopt-A-Studio!

The LSU Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture has launched Adopt-A-Studio, an online fundraising initiative geared toward recent graduates of the program. Adopt-a-Studio invites alumni to help update the studio spaces where they once honed their own art and design skills.

The school is reaching out to alumni who have graduated within the past decade for modest donations. By making donations in amounts that directly relate to the cost of specific studio equipment—such as a desk stool, bookshelf, or work bench—alumni can visualize what they are building for future students.

The school hopes to engage younger alumni by providing them with a clear understanding of exactly where their money is going, and that their donations have a direct impact on the studio experience of current students.

The program will include class challenges for these “Graduates of the Last Decade,” or GOLD alumni, as the school has named them, encouraging friendly competition among the classes. Which class year will raise the most funds?
