The Consulate General of France in New Orleans has decorated LSU art historian Darius A. Spieth as Chevalier of the Ordre des Palmes académiques, a historic distinction recognizing exemplary service to education and culture. The Sept. 9 ceremony at the Résidence de France included remarks and official photos.
