Invisible Like Gravity, featuring work by Scott Andresen & Edward Pramuk
February 11, 2017 - May 14, 2017
Acadiana Center for the Arts new exhibition, Invisible Like Gravity, opens February 11, 2017, and will remain on view in the center’s main space through May 14, 2017. The exhibition, curated by Brian Guidry, features 10 artists including LSU School of Art Assistant Professor Scott Andresen and Professor Emeritus Edward Pramuk.
The artists offer the viewer “a gateway into their world of ideas, notions, and points of meditation.” The exhibition is a testament to how slowed-down the “art experience” can be, as each work will bring with it an ambiguously familiar point of entry that leads to a uniquely poetic assemblage.
Join Scott Andresen and Edward Pramuk for the opening reception Satruday, February 11, 6–9 p.m., during Lafayette’s Second Saturday ArtWalk. More information is available at acadianacenterforthearts.org/invisible-gravity.
