MFA in Studio Art—60 credit hours
Graduate Studio (ART 7000)—27 hours
- 9 hours are required in area of focus
- 6 hours are required out of area of focus
Studio Art/General Electives —12 hours
May be taken in any specialization including area of focus at 4000/7000 level
Art History—12 hours
Teaching Seminar—3 hours
Art 8000 Thesis Research—6 hours
Two semesters, minimum 3 credit hours each
No more than 24 credit hours in studio art and art history may be taken at the 4000 level.
Up to 12 hours of graduate credit may be transferred from NASAD-accredited institutions within the United States. For restrictions, please see the Graduate School bulletin under “transfer of credit.”
